Vijay’s ‘Kaavalan’ in VIT College

Ilayathalapathy Vijay’s upcoming film ‘Kaavalan’ is rolling fast on floors of VIT College in Vellore. The film started rolling before 6 months in Chennai and shooting was held in various parts of Tamil Nadu and Kerala. The original version ‘Bodyguard’ directed by Siddique featured Dhilip and Nayanthara sharing the screen space.

Looks like the film’s storyline is similar to Suriya-Trisha starrer ‘Mounam Pesiyadhe’, in which a series of phone calls from a girl changes the protagonist’s life…

The complete first half would travel on the lines of fun, frolic and romance while the second half turns to be more contrast with emotions and poignant romance with an unexpected twist during climax.

Vidhyasagar has scored music for the film while Ekambaram of ‘Iyarkai’ has handled cinematography. The role played by director Siddique in original version will be enacted by Vadivelu in this remake version.

The scenes involving college sequences are being shot at VIT College in Vellore and the shooting will wrap up after this schedule.

Another latest update regarding our Ilayathalapathy Vijays upcoming movie is that, Vijay would be the lead role in tamil remake of 3-Idiots. The movie would be directed by none other than ace director, Shankar and Harris Jeyraj will score the music part.The other casting details will be confirmed very soon and the shooting of this movie start during the month of November, where-in Vijay would be acting in 3-idiots as well as in Velayudham simultaneously .

So its finally confirmed that Vijay would be acting in tamil remake of 3-idiots.

Naam Thamizhar Movement founder and film director Seeman is lodged in Vellore prison allegedly for speaking against Indian sovereignty. He was arrested in Chennai while addressing a public meeting to condemn the recurring violence unleashed by the Sri Lankan navy against Indian fishermen.

Although Seeman is in prison he is actively performing his duties as a Kollywood director also. Seeman has been offered many films to direct and act. One among them is a film starring Ilaiya Thalapathi Vijay. The film is titled 'Pagalavan' and it will be produced by Kalaipuli Thanu. Close circles say Seeman has already finalised the first half of the script to the satisfaction of his team including Vijay.

Today, producer Kalaipuli Thanu met director Seeman in Vellore jail and discussed the current scenario and sources say Thanu met Seeman to finalise the film deals.

Tamannah has cleared the air by saying that no one had approached her so far to play the female protagonist in the Tamil remake of Bollywood blockbuster ‘3 Idiots’, which would be directed by Shankar. “No, the reports are not true. I have not been offered the role so far,” the actress says, adding: “The Hindi original is a huge hit and I am hopeful that the Tamil version too will be equally big.” Interestingly, if the role is offered to Tamannah, she would for the second time play a character played by Kareena Kapoor. The first time was in ‘Kanden Kadhalai’, which was inspired by ‘Jab We Met’. Buzz is that the Tamil version of ‘3 Idiots’ would bring together Shankar and Vijay for the first time. Music will be by Harris Jayaraj. Remember Shankar worked as an associate to Vijay’s father S A Chandrasekaran before becoming a director.

At a time when a lot of buzzes are doing rounds about the Tamil remake of ‘3 Idiots’, director of the Bollywood blockbuster Raju Hirani has confirmed that the film is being remade in south Indian languages Speaking at the DVD launch of the Aamir Khan starrer in Mumbai, the filmmaker said, “The movie will be soon made in Tamil and Telugu. But I don’t know who will play the lead there.” “I think they (producers and director of the Tamil version) are currently in the process of casting,” Hirani said and added that he has no plans to make a sequel to ‘3 Idiots’. “I am not with that idea,” he said. There were reports that a popular production house has acquired the remake rights of ‘3 Idiots’ and Shankar will direct both the Tamil and Telugu versions. “While Vijay will replace Aamir Khan in Tamil, Mahesh Babu will play the role in Telugu,” reports said.

The latest update regarding the shoot of Vijay�s current movie is that, Vijay who is busy shooting for his next movie, directed by Siddiq, will continue with the same and the shooting would get completed on first week of October.
 And once Vijay completes shooting, he is all set to get on with his next movie titled VELAYUDHAM, directed by Raja from October 3rd. The Velayudham team is currently on break and would resume as soon as Vijay is back on October 3rd.

Another important news regarding Vijay s upcoming movie is that, the title of the movie has been officially confirmed as KAAVALAN.

 Kaavalan, directed by Siddiq would be a remake of Malayalam hit Bodyguard and Asin will play the lead along side Vijay and Vidyasagar would score the music. The movie is almost completed and plans are ahead to release the movie on Diwali.

 Meanwhile Vijay is also making himself ready for a string of movies, that he would be signing after Velayudham, for which official announcements are still awaited.

 Vijay is currently shooting for his 51st movie, which would be a remake of Malayalam movie, Bodyguard, directed by Siddiq, who had directed the original version as well.

 The latest update is that, the movie is right now being shot in various locales in Chennai like Ecr,Ennore..etc and the shoot for this movie will go on till October. And in the mean while, Vijay would be shooting for his 52nd movie, Velayudham too. The shooting of Vijay�s 51st movie  will get over by October and the movie is being planned to be released for Diwali.

Seems its 'KOMBAN' which Ilayathalapathy Vijay pairing with Director Seeman soon. Sources said that Seeman was busy in shaping up the script before he was detained.  It will have assertive elements relevant to the youth and the society with powerful dialogues and energetic screenplay in the director�s own way. But the project is delayed now as Seeman is not breathing independent air. Though other details about the flick are yet to be known, the project and title were almost confirmed and time has to come close for Vijay Fans to see Ilayathalapathy in Seeman's Venture with High Voltage. Kalaipuli Thanu will likely to produce the film under his V creations. Let us wait for the Official confirmation from the actor�s side too.

VELAYUDHAM CREW IN HYDERABAD

Now Vijay is currently shooting for Velayudham and is at Golkonda, Hyderabad , wherein some important fight scenes are being shot and the team would finish their schedule at Hyderabad and would be back to chennai on August 1st.Vijay would then take a break from Velayudham and would resume his shoot for his 51st movie directed by Siddiq.And in the mean time , the Velayudham team would take their break and be ready for their next schedule.

One movie being a remake of malayalam hit Bodyguard, directed by siddiq and other is Velayudham directed by Raja.Velayudham Crew back to chennai last week from hyderabad . Vijay is right now shooting in Chennai (ENORE) for KAAVAL KADHAL  scheduel to shoot 4 days taking some Fisht scenes  Now expectations are on the upcoming movies that Vijay would work on after these 2 releases and speculations are that Vijay would work with Shankar for tamil remake of 3-Idiots, a project with Lingusamy (Paiyaa team). But now news is Vijay would work with Lingusamy, after he completes Velayudham, however its not confirmed officially.Amidst all these, Vijay had already agreed to do the lead role in tamil remake of 3-Idiots , which would be directed by Shankar. With either of these 2 movies, Vijay would all set to rock again in Tamil Cinema, as Vijay s combination with these 2 esteemed directors is sure to create history.        Latest update regarding Vijay's KAAVALAN shooting is that, its currently going on at Prasad Studios , where a fight sequence is being shot.Care is being taken to assure no outsiders are allowed, and no cellphones are used to avoid leakage of scenes. Vijay has put immense effort for this movie and believes that, this movie would be a turning point in his film career and his life too.
