The first official press meet for the Vijay starrer ‘Kavalan’ happened yesterday. It was attended by Vijay, Asin and all other important members of the team. ‘Kavalan’ is an eagerly awaited film for many reasons. After the disastrous ‘Sura’ Vijay fans are praying for a super hit in ‘Kavalan’. Asin after all the could-have-been-avoided controversies related to her Srilankan visit is waiting to confirm her popularity among the Tamil audience. Vijay said his combination with Asin in ‘Sivakasi’ and ‘Pokkiri’ was a hit and hoped even this will be a big one. Asin on her part included Vadivelu also in the hit combination list along with her. The press meet keenly avoided questions on Asin’s camaraderie with the family of the Srilankan president. Vijay, Asin, Vadivelu, Cameraman Ekambaram.
