SHANKAR’S CALL TO JIIVA
Jiiva, in a recent interview, has said that he was thrilled when he got a call from director Shankar. The director made sure that Jiiva had his dates in November and December before offering him a role in the Tamil remake of 3 Idiots. Jiiva has said that he knew that it was multi-hero subject and he was open to such films. The actor clarified that apart from enquiring about his dates nothing else was discussed. Jiiva is upbeat about the remake more so because of the original version’s success at the box office and he gets an opportunity to work with ace director Shankar. Jiiva is currently acting in Singam Puli in which he plays a double role and KV Anand’s Ko.
