Vijay won’t enter politics, Sudden Statement by SA Chandrasekhar

Producer-director S.A. Chandrasekhar has just started campaigning for the opposition AIADMK alliance for the ensuing polls in the States scheduled for next Wednesday. SAC is presently campaigning in Kanniyakumari.

During his speech, SAC has said that his son and actor Vijay would not be campaigning for the alliance. He also confirmed that it’s highly unlikely that his son would be making the full-fledged plunge into the world of politics in the near future.
“Vijay Fan’s Welfare Clubs across the State have expressed their support to the opposition alliance. Our cadres are working round-the-clock to ensure the success of the AIADMK candidates in the forthcoming elections. Having said so, I would like to clarify that Vijay’s lending support to AIADMK shouldn’t be seen as a precursor to his entry in politics.
“Vijay’s support is based on his intention to bring about a change in power in the State. I can sense the people’s hatred for the ruling party which is likely to be reflected ‘strongly’ when they exercise their franchise on 13th,” said SAC and took a dig at the ‘first family’ of Tamil Nadu for ‘usurping’ all the available income-earning options in the film industry.
